Dublin is one of four cities in the running to be named European Capital of Innovation 2021. The awards identify cities that connect citizens, academia and businesses in ways that allow for the experimentation of innovative concepts and tools, help accelerate the growth of innovative start-ups, and shape a local innovation ecosystem (Harford, 2021). The trip to Dublin sadly was cancelled duo to covid-19.
