The Faculty of Geosciences at Utrecht University offers an undergraduate programme in Science and Innovation Management, and two graduate programmes, being Innovation Sciences (IS) and Sustainable Business and Innovation (SB&I). All programmes educate students in bridging the gap between science and society by linking technological knowledge with economic demands and the needs and conditions of society. Every programme has its own specialties and tracks, such as Life Science, Energy and Transport or Sustainability.

IS and SBI graduates acquire jobs with a diverse range of employers, because of the multi-disciplinary character of the programme. The majority will work as high level consultants for large multinationals or small consultancy companies, but some choose to start their own company, work for the government or attain a job as a researcher.
