Case VolkerWessels

Els de Jong – Participant SSU programme 2016

The SSU 2016 asked me to join a brainstorm session for VolkerWessels. We were explicitly asked to come unprepared to stay as open-minded as possible. We were asked to brainstorm in groups of two about sustainable implementations in and around houses. We were challenged to think out of the box and use our creativity. After we got a presentation of what VolkerWessels does and the sustainability challenges it is trying to tackle in the housing industry. After VolkerWessels asked us to implement the ideas (as crazy as they were) in a plan for a future sustainable neighborhood. At the end of the evening we were invited to present our ideas and VolkerWessels chose one idea to be transformed into an article.
